Singapore HCI Talk: CHI 2021 Paper Pitching Session
WHEN: Tuesday June 23, 2020 at 5 pm
WHERE: Zoom (link will be sent to participants)

Got an idea for a CHI 2021 paper? Not sure if it will work out? Come pitch your idea to a (virtual) room full of your peers and get feedback now! This is great way to get started on a CHI 2021 submission.

Every speaker will present an abstract for a CHI 2021 paper consisting of 1 slide containing 5 bullet points:
1. The larger research problem
2. The most closely related work
3. A research question
4. Methodology
5. Expected contributions

The time allotted for each presenter will be roughly 5 minute presentation plus 5-10 minutes discussion (depending on the number of presentations)

To participate, send your slide to Alex Mitchell <al...@nus.edu.sg> in PowerPoint format by Monday, June 22nd at 11:59 pm. If you would like to attend to help critique, please also drop us an email for the Zoom link.

And remember, you are limited to only 1 slide with no videos or extra stuff. Squeezing your idea into this format will force you to focus on essentials.

See you there!
