Dear students, 

We have a great opportunity to share with you. With the kind sponsorship from Huawei, we are able to offer you free slots to join the summer bootcamp to explore the future of smart-glasses interactions, and learn more about core concepts that influence its innovation. You will be led by expert researchers of this topic, and joined by up to 50 students from all academic backgrounds and levels across Singapore, HangZhou, Hong Kong or around the world. 

Time: May 23rd to May 28th (6 days). 

Cost: free for those of you who are committed and selected to join this bootcamp (in addition, lunch will be provided) 

Place: Innovation 4.0 NUS 

What to expect: 

Over a six-days period, you will explore the topic of Future Interactions using Smart-glasses and related wearable devices by:
1. Understanding the design needs of lightweight smart-glasses as the next generation wearable devices
2. Learning key concepts in Heads-Up and Mobile Computing, both of which set the context for a truly exciting vision surrounding smart-glasses interactions.
3. Discussing fundamental research methodologies and APIs for supported platforms
4. Hands-on ideation sessions with your classmates and facilitators
5. Submitting proposed projects that stem from design ideas, which will be evaluated as part of a hackathon competition, with attractive prizes.
6. Selected works will be recommended to the MobileHCI conference at the end of 2022 to participate in the final stage of the Student Innovation Competition, or other awards.

Requirements
1.Undergraduate or postgraduate students in Computer Science, Design, Psychology
or related fields
2.Interests in Human-computer Interaction and AI
