We are looking for someone to join our platform team that handles the backing up of over 500TB of data. It is not yet-another-web-or-mobile-app. You will work on challenging problems that you read about on highscalability.com or HN. You should know Ruby/Scala well as those are used to build our platform. Knowing the Singapore market, the probability of finding someone who knows Ruby and Scala and is looking for work is not very realistic. We are ok so long as you are good in your fundamentals and is interested to pick those up. Our platform is on Linux and AWS. We also use MongoDB and Postgresql. If you know the web stack well, that is a big plus. We are located at Blk 71 which is walking distance from one-north MRT. Please contact me z...@dropmysite.com if you are interested.
