Hi to all.

I have downloaded the MSI package and am following instructions in
readme. When attempting to install service using the instructions in
section 2 of the readme.txt document I receive the following output:

Microsoft (R) .NET Framework Installation utility Version
2.0.50727.1433
Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

Exception occurred while initializing the installation:
System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly
'file:///C:\Program
Files\GLR\Sinergia\workflow\Singeria.WWF.Host.exe' or one of
its dependencies. The
system cannot find the file specified..

Have confirmed that I have the following installed:

- Windows XP Pro with SP2
- .Net Framework 3.0 with SP1 installed [framework 3.5 is also
installed]
- MS Enterprise Library May 2007
- SQL Server 2005 [MSDN version rather than express]
- IIS
- Installation of Sinergia is to C:\Program Files\GLR\Sinergia [the
default for the MSI]

I have also changed the database scripts so that it uses the options
needed for non-trusted login i.e. -S localhost -U sa -P mypassword.
Note: The following has turned up whilst doing all this:
(1) Section 1.3 of the readme.txt should read:
>membership-schema.bat
>membership-data.bat
>membership-grant.bat
(2) Based on the the OSQLs placing command output into .out
files
the C:\Program Files\GLR\Sinergia\database\Membership
\Membership_grant.sql
file is never run i.e. no .out file is created.

So the question is: what is preventing the service from installing
correctly?

Any help in regards to this would be much appreciated.

Hi to all,

Found what stopped the service installation was something not listed
in the dependency section of the ReadMe.txt file:

* Visual Studio 2005 extensions for .NET Framework 3.0 (Windows
Workflow Foundation)
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=5d61409e-1fa3-48cf-8023-e8f38e709ba6&DisplayLang=en

Thanks again.

Regards,
Brendon
