I have everything working OK except:

Problems while trying to establish a connection with the workflow's
engine backend. Please contact your system administrator. Inner
Exception: Could not connect to http://localhost:8089/Sinergia/Web/CaseServices.
TCP error code 10061: No connection could be made because the target
machine actively refused it.

I see the discussion with Dan-BSR on this subject but that ended in
Sep 2007 without resolution apparently.

Questions:

1) Is the Sinergia.Workflow service supposed to be running all the
time, or does it wake up and run as required. When I start it, it
just automatically stops.

2) Do I need to do anything on my Win Server 2003, IIS 6.0 or
Watchguard Firebox Firewall Appliance to allow communications on port
8089?

Please step me through any solution as this is new territory.

Sincerely, Bernie

Hi Bernie,

The answers to you questions are:

1) Yes, it´s supposed to be running all the time.

2) If you are working with Windows 2003, afaik you shouldnt. In vista you may have problems due to the new security features.

regards,
gabo
