Hello community!

When I open the solution Sinergia.sln in Visual Studio 2005, with all
programming languages and options installed, I receive the following
error from Visual Studio itself:

"The project file ‘C:\Projects\Sinergia\src\Projects\Sinergia.Workflows
\Sinergia.Workflows.csproj’ cannot be opened. The project type is not
supported by this installation."

My research shows that this message generally appears of a C++
compiler is not installed. However, a C++ compiler IS installed. The
Sinergia program, Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server are all installed
on the same machine. Also, the Sinergia HelpDesk program appears to
run as it should. Thanks to anybody in advance for their input.

Try googling this Visual Studio error, in my experience it´s usually caused by a corrupted visual studio installation.

Hello Megill,

thats a Problem with the Sinergia.ActivityLibrary.csproj and the
Sinergia.Workflows.csproj files. To Load these files your Visual
Studio 2005 need the "Visual Studio 2005 extensions for .NET Framework
3.0".
Alternatively you can open the solution with VS2008.
