Dear all

Due to a number of requests to extend the application for THE FIRST DRAFT, Singapore’s first one-year part-time screenwriter development programme, the closing date for applications has been extended to 5.00pm on Friday, 22nd of January 2010.

We have also arranged a briefing session on the programme as there have been a large number of queries covering many different aspects of the programme, from content and costs to entry requirements and outcomes.

This session that will take place on Monday, 11th January 2010 at 8pm at Sinema Old School. Attendance for the briefing session is free but please register at:

Who should attend?

Screenwriters, with existing screenwriting credits (short of long form) and with scripts in development.

Producers with scripts they would like to go through this process.

Directors or performers who may be considering developing their own screenplays.

Emerging filmmakers, who are making the move from shorts to features and want to develop their first feature script.
