Hi

I read this page about sindice sparql endpoint "http://
blog.sindice.com/2012/05/18/sparql-endpoint-reliability/" and
understood that the triples indexed for sparql endpoint is only a
snapshot of everything on the lod. As by the date of the post, it
contained 1.5billion triples, covering 12 data sources.

Can I ask,

1) has the stats been updated since then
2) what is the selection criteria on what datasets to index

Many thanks!

Hi

Our sparql endpoint has been updated since then and we have about 6-7 BT.
The rationale for selection which datasets are included in the sparql endpoint is based on how important/known the datasets are.
However if any of our users make a request to us that they want a certain dataset in the sparql endpoint we can add it.

I hope this helps.

Gabi

1.5. is just the dump datasets, here are 3BT also from crawled websites.
