Opportunity Description

We now have a fantastic opportunity for talented Integration Engineer (5+ Years of experience) specialised in power pack architectures to join our team

 

Key Responsibilities

•              3D designing and modeling using UG/NX, 2D drawing detailing with Tolerance stack up analysis.

•              Design and develop core mechanical power pack architectures as needed to support business plan

•              Perform design analysis including mechanical stress, thermal analysis, stack analysis, etc.

•              Develop core power pack specification and interface requirements between components

•              Optimize cost and robustness of design working closely with manufacturing engineering

•              Ability to conduct thermal, stress and vibration analysis

•              Understanding of chassis sub-systems and the components

•              Understanding of circuit board design and basic brushless motor designs / constructions and trade-offs between alternatives is preferred

•              Conduct Initial DFMEA’s and Validation Tests according to project timelines

•              Monitor / approve design changes for additional applications of a given architecture

•              Support supplier select through qualification of new architectures

•              Coordinate design / prototyping activities with supply base

•              Track and coordinate development with interfacing components and against program deliveries

•              Communicate with customer directly on architecture related issues

•              Effective interpersonal skills with internal and external customers is required

•              Excellent verbal and technical communication skills is required

•              Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word is required

 

Personal Attributes

•              Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering is required, Master preferred

•              Delivery focused, with a demonstrable track record of on time delivery

•              Self-motivated to deliver excellence and perform beyond targets

•              The ability to lead, motivate and focus team members and suppliers to meet all program deliverables

•              Ability to deliver under pressure with an appetite for measured success

•              Advanced problem solving abilities

•              Able to connect and resolve with suppliers on all technical issues

•              Ability to work as a team player to enhance the project team environment, ensure support to colleagues, and maximize efficiency
