HCT Pakistan 2023 Monsoon season contingency plan and minimum emergency response package

Dear WASH Sector Partners,

 

In preparation for the 2023 monsoon season, please find attached the following guidance documents which you can use to plan, fundraise and preposition WASH items; they were developed by OCHA in consultation with NDMA and the different sectors.

2. Minimum emergency response package per sector

 

Please note that even if the population to be targeted for the 2023 monsoon season is given as 4 million people, WASH currently has a planning figure of 500,000 people, which may be revised upwards if the need arises,

 

As was discussed earlier, other preparedness actions for the WASH Sector are: (1) Refresher training on emergency WASH and (2) compiling the current WASH Stock  and (3) compiling the human resources for WASH per agency.
