Dear WASH Sector Partners,

 

Please find attached Sitrep #2 on Tropical Cyclone Biparjoy as was shared by OCHA yesterday. Parts of Sindh province will be affected by Cyclone Biparjoy.

 

Currently, the GoP is handling the evacuations, response plans and activities, the humanitarian community (WASH) will be formally requested at the provincial level through the WASH Sector Coordinators when their assistance is required.

 

In the meantime, as a WASH Sector, we shall continue to prepare and be on standby in case we are requested by GoP to assist in the response.

 

The Sindh Provincial WASH sector coordination team will provide updates on response required or assistance requested for by the provincial authorities.
