The team of players unfolds a poster-sized map about 45 by 30 inches (114 cm 76 cm) on which is illustrated an urban area depicting characters performing ordinary daily tasks such as eating, working, or attending events.[3] Some are engaged in criminal activities, ranging from petty theft to murder, and it is the goal of the players acting as detectives or private investigators to solve those crimes.[3]

MicroMacro: Crime City has spawned three sequels, each following the same basic format, but with a new city map, and new cases to solve. Each sequel subtitle takes its name from a term in poker.

The map on par with the other installments in the series. A gigantic, black and white sprawling map full of cartoon characters and funny scenes. There are funny things to look at, alongside the scenes you need to solve the cases. It is a busy city, with lots of visual information that can,at times, make it difficult to follow the clues you need to follow. Nobody said solving crime was an easy job.

MicroMacro Full House gives players icons that share what audience the crimes are suitable for. 7 cases are marked family friendly, 5 cases depict murders/corpses and 4 cases depict more adult situations. Even at its most violent, Micro Macro is both charming and creepy with its cute line art.

With MicroMacro: Crime City 3 - All In, players can venture into the next district of the crime-ridden black and white metropolis Crime City. On a new, huge city map, which seamlessly connects to the previous maps, 16 tricky criminal cases are again waiting to be solved by one to four amateur detectives. These are brand new stories, more ingenious and devious than ever before! Players need to determine motives, find evidence and convict the perpetrators. An attentive eye is just as important as creative deduction skills in order to unravel everything on the 75 x 110 cm game board. A magnifying glass is included in the game as a little help to find all the details and the individual cases are again marked with symbols so that parents can decide which cases the youngest investigators are allowed to research and uncover. MicroMacro: Crime City 3 - All In is a stand-alone game, no previous knowledge from the other two MicroMacro games is required.

MicroMacro: Crime City is a game of visual sleuthing. In this game, players carefully study an oversized map of a cityscape, looking for clues to solve a variety of crimes. It is a very unique game, one that will appeal to a wide audience, especially families and puzzle-lovers.

I am thinking about allowing factions to control cities too.. Terrorists own a city, terrorist ai spawn in city and shoot at anyone that comes near. Once everyone who owns a city is killed then it is assigned a new owner.

ccSetupTerroristCity - SAME AS CIV - Can create 1 or more. If civ or ter destroys the LAST city, then civilians/terrorists can move to neutral cities to live, or can re-take the enemy cities without help from military in order to re-establish their grasp on the map.

The giant city map (75 x 110 cm) is home to a myriad of hidden information. Different difficulty levels lead the players step by step into the game. Players must work closely together to find out what happened. The case cards contain questions for which the group must find the right answers. Every criminal case is unique and hides amazing information!

Where to start? Firstly, when I exited the metro, I didn't initially understand what I needed to do (didn't read the MOTD, lol). The city design is fairly simple, easy to navigate. Then, I stumbled upon the Yakuza boss and initially didn't understand what I needed to do or where to go. I returned to the metro entrance and found money, then bought a knife, and for fun, started killing civilians, which caused the entire police force to start attacking me. As a result, I had to restart the map, read the MOTD after all, understood what I needed to do, and began to progress through the map properly. Overall, it's fairly easy to finish in 30-60 minutes.

Pros:

+Open World. Non-linear maps for Sven Co-op are quite rare nowadays. It's even more unique when you need to choose a specific faction, which is a rarity (unless it's the only map where you can do so).

+Design. Fairly responsive, very good for Goldsrc/Svengine. It's remind me of the city maps in Action Half-Life or The Specialists.

+The concept itself. Very straightforward, but implementation isn't bad.

your map had a different\outdated .res file meaning if players would have downloaded this map from a server, they would have missing textures, i resguyed it again and uploaded it but there are still favorite linux problems like uppercase names or spaces in the filenames, particually "sound/crimecity/music/MURDER IN MY MIND.wav", changing it to something like "sound/crimecity/music/murder_im_my_mind.wav" would fix the penguin problem
