Suppressing whitespace with erb tags

Howdy,
Came from rails, and loving sinatra.
How do I prefend a truckload of whitespace from my erb tags.
Is there an equavalent like in rails <%- code -%> ?
I thougth it was erb but it's probably in rails.
Sinatra uses tilt so is there some trick somewhere?

Use erubis instead of erb: http://www.sinatrarb.com/intro.html#Erubis
