We’re in the second half of May, so let’s get up to speed with what the community has been up to for the past two weeks! (Posting a couple days late, sorry!)

In more general, community news:

The yearly writing contest is open once again! Until July 15, you can submit your work to be anonymously rated. Results will be announced on suno pi toki pona.
Speaking of which, you can now rewatch last year’s Toki Pona Day. This year’s event is coming up in 3 months — you can learn more about it or join as a performer.
Toki Pona received a shoutout from the Plurality Positivity Conference!

Two small upcoming irl meetups:

In Montreal on June 1st — talk to jan Nikola if you’d like to join.
In Zürich on the weekend of May 24th-25th, possibly — talk in the meetups group if you’re interested.

The Bible translation project has finalised the translation of Genesis 38, making it the second chapter of Genesis (or the sixth chapter overall) to be fully translated and sealed. (This happened earlier, but I was reminded to share!)
