Dear colleagues,
Please consider to contribute to and/or forward to the appropriate groups the following opportunity to submit and publish original works on DEVS formalism.
APMS is the official conference of the IFIP Working Group 5.7 on Advances in Production Management Systems, bringing together leading experts from academia, research and industry.
Website:
http://www.apms-conference.org/index.php
This year it will be held in Ajaccio from 20 to 24 September.
The conference proceedings will as usual be published by Springer.
Each paper can be up to 8 pages in length and must conform to the Springer format:

Dead line for submission of Full Papers is 30 Apr 2014
Special sessin topics: Discrete Event Simulation for Distributed Production Systems
The main objective of the session is to provide a forum to disseminate and discuss recent and significant research efforts in modelling and discrete event simulation based on DEVS formalism.
New approaches or methods used to deal production management systems are particularly encouraged. The session is therefore open to high quality submissions from researchers who should present original research and applications including results.
Such applications could utilize the following topic areas of production management, natural production management and DEVS (but are not limited to):
- Simulation Methodology
- Simulation Modelling and Analysis
- Modelling Methodology
- Discrete Event System Simulation
- Simulation Tools
- Simulation in Manufacturing
- Sustainability and natural production management
Organized by:
- Gregory Zacharewicz, Associate Professor, University of Bordeaux, IMS UMR CNRS 5218
- David Hill, full Professor, Blaise Pascal University, ISIMA/LIMOS UMR CNRS 6158
- Gauthier Quesnel, researcher, INRA, MIAT
- Eric Innocenti, Associate Professor, University of Corsica, TIC, UMR CNRS 6134
- Paul-Antoine Bisgambiglia, Associate Professor, University of Corsica, TIC, UMR CNRS 6134
