Greetings from the Alumni Committee!
The Professional Development and Placements Team at K J Somaiya Institute of Management has introduced a new initiative for 'Student Readiness', which focuses on identifying and bridging the gap between the students' aspirations and the ever changing requirements of the corporate world. The initiative is specifically designed to prepare students for their placements and their forthcoming professional journey.
As part of this effort, we would greatly appreciate your assistance which would go a long way in helping them to prepare better for our upcoming placement season.
We request you to kindly read the questions given below and create a video addressing these questions for the students.
You may choose any number of questions that you feel comfortable answering.
1. Can you provide insights into the company culture and work environment of your company?
2. What were the key elements that made your resume/candidature stand out?
3. What types of questions were asked during your interviews? Were there any questions you found particularly challenging?

8. Were there any common pitfalls or challenges that you faced during the process?
9. How did you manage stress and maintain confidence throughout the placement process?
10. Did you have any strategies for balancing preparation with other commitments?
11. Is there anything you wish you had done differently in your placement preparation?
12. Do you have any additional tips or advice for someone starting their placement journey?
