We had a great bday party:
- Trang made homemade pot stickers and her own fish sauce. They
disappeared
- Julie made a broccoli cream sauce dish - gone
- Gaby made parmesean chicken - unseen
- Andrea made her normal fantstic salad - I didn't get any
- Amy made her crunchy bean dish for me - I also didn't get any
- Jeff and William made this mountain climbing cake for me, check out
pics.
THis was our first birthday party so everyone seem to have a great
time. Lots of smiles on a
-20 degree below day.
As for "The Discussion" I guess I'm the only one that thinks only
feeding people is cruel, most people thought you just purely give from
your heart and do your best and it is a good thing. BUT Craig had a
good point that asking people to help out shoulder-to-shoulder would
be a good thing and we all agreed. That would lower the "they"/''us"
wall even further.
Hope everyone had fun at the shelter and the bar. Did some polka
dancing and a little singing.
Anyways - Making the call for March 30th. Hope to see you there for
more fun! As always we'll go out afterwards too.
Mike
