Simply, the present
Moment
A body of water between an island
and the shore, or between two islands.
A long reach of water
connecting two seas.
Long reach the cognitive stretch of
memory - could be hindsight?
or the process of transforming
memory into a contemporary effect.
History has a long reach and may be
attribute to thought patterns through our physical and/or spiritual DNA. It may
well step over the boundaries of all realities.
Why write on Longreach - a 'funny'
topic for a feelgood style email
Well I follow symbols and symbolism
in my life
A few weeks ago my friend Malcolm
mentioned the Akashic records so I went looking to see what they would 'tell
me'
The books were easy to find but the
first one which would open had blank pages. My first thought was to say that we
weren't meant to know just yet when in my minds eye I 'saw' a quill begin
writing on the page.
In very old script I saw the words
Justice, Longreach, Winds, Valour, Trust, Honour, Imprudent, Reigns. I also saw
the three blind mice of which I've written in previous emails.
Certainly the three blind mice link
the stories of "justice" as written about in the last simply the present moment
posting. Seemingly the three bishops burnt at the stake for their religious
convictions didn't appear to receive justice in 1655. But without the longreach
of history we wouldn't be aware of their connection to us, now in the 21st
century. Genetically some of us may even be blood relatives
and of course genetic memory as well
as history reaches out to the Black Death of 1347-50 when more than 1/3 of the
European population were wiped out and the disease was attributed to mice/rats.
So we both fear and enjoy these little creatures which bring tales (pun
intended) of so much symbolism into our lives.
All the words as I "saw" written on
those blank pages become a part of who we are today. We each were given a
blank page at birth to write upon as we chose during this journey we call
life.
I could find no particular
dictionary meaning for the word 'longreach' and so another gift is given as we
each are allowed to choose for ourselves how we accept the meaning into our
life.
Just as we can accept or not the
truth of when and how the nursery rhymes came into being we can also accept or
not the things that we feel and see in our daily lives.
We have choice as to how we enact
our own personal game. We are given from time to time a new set of toys and
tools to bring in or leave behind. We experience sickness, grief, laughter, joy
and then become the author of our own scripts in how we play them
out.
Sometimes it's a subconscious memory
installed genetically generations before and left to be stored in our DNA until
we need to dust it off and insert the programme or send it to the delete button.
We are even given opportunity to recycle it if we choose. As in all situations
we can choose to see mice as dear little creatures who are soft and gentle just
building their lives in the best way possible for them
or
we can see them as evil and
dangerous to be exterminated at all costs.
How do these 'mice' reflect your
interpretations of life and humanity?
Do we exterminate everything we see
as evil or is that someone else's perspective shouted out loud and absorbed into
our psyche as 'truth'?
Are we each able to extract through
history and knowledge as to what is the truth we need to follow?
Are we the connection between the
two worlds?
can we be the body which connects or
do we divide?
It's choice - no right or
wrong!
for we are part of the evolution of
change. A most exciting time in the history of Humankind.
Just as we use the long arm of
memory to reach back into history that we make sense of the present, so too do
we become the longreach of memory in a
future yet to be written.
We wait! not too patiently for the
changes we know are here but not quite wanting to be seen.
We can feel them and smell them on
the Wind.
it is in love from my heart and soul to your heart and soul

Three Blind Mice: The wife in the rhyme may
refer to Mary I, daughter of King Henry VIII of England, sometimes referred to
as "Bloody Mary." She is called a "farmer's wife" because of the large estates
owned by her and her husband, King Philip II of Spain. The mice in the rhyme may
refer to Hugh Latimer, Nicholas Ridley, and Thomas Cranmer, three Anglican
bishops convicted of plotting against the Queen. They were subsequently burned
at the stake.
