Dear friends in travel
I sit with much difficulty to write this post as I managed to break my ankle, crack some ribs, sprain my right hand and acquire various bruises which are all now glorious shades of colours.
To get myself from room to room is still extremely difficult. I’ll be in this caste for about five more weeks.
Each day except for two, I’ve continued with the journey of meditation I started to share with you all three weeks ago. I hope because I was unable to share that you were able to continue with me through the heart as One People.
I share with you today some words from “The Four Agreements” by Don Miguel Ruiz. (page 28)
“The human mind is like a fertile ground where seeds are continually being planted. The seeds are opinions. Ideas and concepts. You plant a seed, a thought, and it grows. The word is like a seed, and the human mind is so fertile. The only problem is that too often it is fertile for the seeds of fear. Every human mind is fertile, but only for those kinds if words it is prepared for. What is important is to see which kind of seeds our mind is fertile for, and to prepare it to receive the seeds of love.
Take the example of Hitler: He sent out all those seeds of fear, and the grew strong and beautifully achieved mass destruction. Seeing the awesome power of the word, we must understand what power comes out of our mouths. One fear or doubt planted in our mind can create an endless dram of events. One word is like a spell, and humans use the word like black magicians, thoughtlessly putting spells on each other.
Every human is a magician, and we can either put a spell on someone with our word or we can release someone from a spell………………”
In order to follow this concept we need first to understand and feel from our heart the real truth of our opinion. It is not real truth to express an opinion about a book from which only an excerpt is read. The same is true of our fellow human beings. We can not sit in judgement of their actions when we have not walked in their shoes. To express judgement on another persons actions is to act as the black magician, which in turn spreads a truth not true to the individual.
Whether you follow the healing/teachings of Reiki or not the following principles are guidelines by which we may all live
1) Just For
Today, I Shall Trust
- This principle teaches us to let go of worries and to think positively
2) Just for Today, I Shall Do My Work Honestly
- This principle teaches us not only to be honest with ourselves, but with
others, and to live by what you tell others they should live by
3) Just For Today, I Shall Accept My Many Blessings
- We must be able to receive in order for the Universe go give to us
4) Just For Today, I Shall Be At Peace
- When we radiate peace and love, peace and love is returned to us
5) Just For Today, I Shall Respect the Rights of All Life Forms - We must honor
ALL life and allow everyone to life his/her own truth.

"The
Circle of Life is charged with the coincidences of the moment.
To follow your heart in recognizing the power of chance,
invites the energy of the sub-conscious mind to create a new reality."
