Loaded January 2009 Issue

We didn't bother to review Loaded last month. The main feature was an
underwear pictorial of Jennifer Ellison. We had flick through the
magazine in the newsagents, and left it on the shelf.

Loaded doesn't seem to know quite where it wants to go. This month
it's back to a nudie theme.

The cover of the January issue shows Rosie Jones together with Sophie
Howard. It's a good shot of Rosie - a nude bum shot. Unfortunately the
pictorial inside turns out to be slightly disappointing. There are 8
pages, all with a Christmassy theme. There's just a single solo nude
shot of Rosie, and one nude shot of the 2 girls together. This shot
shows them leaning against an artificial showman. It's not an
arrangement which lends itself to flattering poses, and you can't
actually see the boobs of either girl. The pictorial also feels a bit
sanitised compared with the next pictorial in mag...

Loaded also has a 2-girl pictorial of Kaylee and Jodie. This appears
to have been taken inside a real laundrette. The technical quality of
these pics is awful. They seem to have been taken using an on-camera
flash which washes out most of the texture, and leaves a
characteristic dark shadow line around the girls' bodies. This
pictorial set does have a slightly edgier feel than the studio snowman
set. There's just one shot with one of the girls touching the other's
boobs. Both girls have underwear on in most of the pics. There's just
one shot of the girls nude together, which is reproduced as a small
1/9th-of-a-page image.

Well, better than last month.
