Regular readers will have noticed that we've stopped reviewing every
issue of Nuts and ZOO. We simply don't think they are worth £3.20
EVERY week.
Two major gripes have been: 1) the number of recycled pics (you
wouldn't expect to buy a magazine on any other subject, only to find
it repeating stuff you'd seen before), and 2) too many stale models
(Sophie Howard, Danielle Lloyd, Gemma Atkinson, etc).
We may occasionally review these mags, if any issues "look
interesting".
This week's issue of ZOO is called "The Naked Issue". Naked Issues
have sometimes been interesting in the past, so what's in this issue.
First, there's a 2-page feature about Britans' Nudist Beaches, showing
Chelsea White and Annastasia, on Bournemouth beach. Very uninspiring
photography. It's just 2 girls with no clothes on. Boring.
This feature comes on the day that Britain's oldest nudist beach is
being closed, because of coastal erosion. There's an article about
this, including a map showing the locations of all Britain's nudest
beaches in today's Independent:
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/this-britain/naturists-lose-their-fight-to-go-naked-on-the-beaches-1675185.html
(That's a long URL you may need to cut and paste it into your
browser).
The article in the Independent is a lot more informative than the one
in ZOO.
Then ZOO has a 6-page pictorial of Michelle Marsh. Very unoriginal
poses against a plain white studio background. We don't know why she's
crawling out of the woodwork, after a 2-year break from modelling - a
"stale" model.
Then there's a 10-page 2-girl pictorial of Kelly Andrews and Madison.
These pics are also taken against a plain white studio background.
There's one decent solo shot of Kelly (p47), but the rest are fairly
bland.
Finally, there are 4 pages of miscellaneous girls. These are all
probably recycled pics, all apparently taken in a studio - nothing
particularly notable.
