Following continually falling circulation, Maxim UK is stopping
production of its UK edition after the June issue.

We're not in the least surprised - we stopped reviewing this magaine
several months ago because the content of recent issues has been so
poor.

Hardly surprising given the economic conditions at the moment also but
yes, Maxim is now just a shadow of it's former self. 2 years ago it
was actually a decent magazine with some decent photoshoots of new
girls. It was quite niche in a way. Now, you hardly get anything like
that in any of the current magazines. I think FHM and Arena will ride
the downturn out but if the quality isn't there now and in the future
issues of FHM then no-one is going to buy it so I wouldn't be
surprised if FHM went the same way like it did in the US. I can't
comment on Arena since I rarely pick it up.

To my surprise however, there was 2 rather decent shoots of Amii Grove
and Porscha with Alice in last weeks' ZOO.
