Is Simplex3D active?

Hi
I've just stumbled on Simplex3D and I was wondering if it's actively being developed or whether development is coming to an end?
I'm new to Scala but have a background in math/geo modelling and visualisation and would like to be involved if it's actively being pushed forward.

The project is being actively developed with the goal of releasing a fully-featured and stable engine at some point. Contributions towards that goal are always welcomed.
Feel free to ask any project-related questions on the mailing list, the IRC channel, or the forum: http://www.simplex3d.org/community/
The Scala community is very supportive of newcomers to the language. And I would like to continue that tradition within the project. So feel free to ask for any advice or assistance with Scala.
