I've changed the default rendering of mail link to exclude the 'mailto:' protocol, so
[[mailto:per...@address.com]] now shows up as per...@address.com
I think this would be the most common usage, as the "@" clearly identifies the link as an email.

If you've downloaded since version 1 but before this posting, just re-download; I haven't bothered to generate a sub-point release for this.
