Mono build/usage

FYI;

Started playing with Simple.Web and really loving it's clean intuitive approach; I am however keen to use it to improve my experience of developing only on Mono/OSX with Sublime or Vim. 

Thus far I've got mainly stuck into trying to get the FAKE F# Make system to play nicely and although I have it executing nicely there seems to be quite a number of issues with FAKE playing nice on Mono (mainly slash related). As such I'm now knee-deep in F# and making that build on Mono but having issues with both stable and develop branches. I have made (a yet to appear) post in the FAKE google group but wondered if anybody else was ahead of me in these Mono endeavours?
