SimpleSAML and Typo3

Has anyone tried writing extensions for integrating simpleSAML with
Alfresco or Typo3 by any chance?

We're also interested in integrating typo3 with SAML.

Our current plan is to look into the http (basic) auth plugin and
integrate with the Shibboleth SP, hence requiring no modifications in
typo3 for authentication at all, and probably creating some plugin for
the attributes. No work has been done in that regard, however.

If anyone has plans to make typo3 SAML aware (with whatever
implementation) please get in concact.

I found an old SAML plugin for typo3 based on simpleSAMLphp:  http://wayf.dk/en/services/connection-technology-for-services/141

Hi,

Yes, the Shibboleth version is working fine! I experienced some quirks along the way, but it was due to a minor miss on my behalf concerning the Apache VHOST setup for Typo3.

Other than that is was very straight forward!

Never had any luck with the simpleSAMLphp plugin hosted on http://wayf.dk, although it was in fact was my goal to the Wayf service itself and Wayf incidentally recommends simpleSAMLphp as their preferred SAML IdP/SP solution :)
