Hey guys,
I've been working with integrating a client into our simpleSAMLphp instance.  In our set up, I act as the SP and they act as the IDP.  I've gotten the application working fine with openidp.feide.no

It's been frustrating to debug because their security policy won't give me a test account, so I've been going over email. We've exchanged metadata and everything seems to be working fine in Firefox (FF28), however when he tries using Chrome (37.0.2062.94) he consistently gets this error message:

SimpleSAML_Error_Error: UNHANDLEDEXCEPTION

Backtrace:

0 /path/to/simplesaml/www/module.php:180 (N/A)

Caused by: sspmod_saml_Error: Responder: Unexpected Runtime Authn Adapter Integration Problem.

Backtrace:

3 /path/to/simplesaml/modules/saml/lib/Message.php:386 (sspmod_saml_Message::getResponseError)

2 /path/to/simplesaml/modules/saml/lib/Message.php:493 (sspmod_saml_Message::processResponse)

1 /path/to/simplesaml/modules/saml/www/sp/saml2-acs.php:96 (require)

0 /path/to/simplesaml/www/module.php:135 (N/A)

Upon googling, I only found things related to other SSO options and NO results when I required the words simpleSAMLphp.  Has anyone experienced anything like this?  I can supply any metadata you need on my end, but since it seems browser specific, I'm not sure it's related to that.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Rich

I don't have a ready answer for you I'm afraid, but I do know why you
don't get any Google results when you add 'simpleSAMLphp': this error is
actually generated at the IdP and then relayed over SAML to your SSP
which faithfully displays it to you. So the clue is for your client to
investigate their setup and logs to determine while their IdP product
would generate that error.

Cheers,
Thijs
