All,

I'm finally upgrading to SSP 1.19.X (thanks to Unicon's new container that was built late last year), and I see that metarefresh is no longer where it used to be under the modules dir. I see it under vendor/simplesamlphp/saimplesamlphp-module-metarefresh. Does it need to be copied into the modules directory to be activated, or is there some magic that will run it out of the vendor directory that I'm missing?

Thanks,
Keith

Alright, looking deeper, it looks like I'm supposed to install the module with:

composer.phar require simplesamlphp/simplesamlphp-module-metarefresh 1.0.0

But running this command, after being prompted to add the simplesamlphp-module-installer module to my composer.json, results in:

Running composer update simplesamlphp/simplesamlphp-module-metarefresh
Loading composer repositories with package information
Updating dependencies
Nothing to modify in lock file
Writing lock file
Installing dependencies from lock file (including require-dev)
Nothing to install, update or remove

I have no modules/metarefresh before running that command, and still no modules/metarefresh afterwards. As the output suggests, it's clearly not installing the module as the simplesamlphp-module-install README suggests that it should.

This is, again, on 1.19.3.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,
Keith

Hi,

it's not your fault, but a typo in the composer.json of v1.0:

Best,

Thanks, all, for this info.

Now, if the Unicon folks can just update the Docker image to 1.19.5, we’ll be back in business. I’ll work around it in the meantime, but if anyone from Unicon is on this list, can you please make this update?

Thanks,

Keith
