Hi,

I have looked at the openid option (consumer) but that's not as easy as Twitter or Facebook for the user. Is there a smart way to use "plain Google" (think Gmail, *not* Google Apps) as an authentication source in SSP?

Or is the smart way "write a module"?

No, there is a normal way, use SSP 1.7 and openid module with target
option set to 'https://www.google.com/accounts/o8/id'.

Thanks, good to know. Ironically, the openid module is not linked to
any more detailed docs, so this answer is very handy!
