Hi,

We are pleased to announce that the final release for version 1.18.0 of SimpleSAMLphp is now available for download. This release is the result of hard work to improve the quality of the codebase and get it up to modern standards. It includes some new features and a preview for the future user interface that can be enabled by setting the “usenewui” configuration option to true.. We would like to thank everybody who helped making this possible. For a detailed and extensive list of changes, please refer to the changelog.

We would also like to take the chance to ask you for your feedback on this new user interface. It implies a quite radical change from the current interface and therefore we would need as much testing as possible on it.
