Dear all,

This is to let you know that we have released our adaptation of SimpleNLG to Spanish, developed in the University of Santiago de Compostela. It is available in:

https://github.com/citiususc/SimpleNLG-ES

Feel free to contribute to its improvement. I hope you find it useful.

Best regards,
Alejandro

Hi Alejandro,

I have tidied up my python code and put it on pypi. It can use your Spanish version of simplenlg:

from nlglib.realisation.simplenlg.realisation import Realiser
from nlglib.microplanning import *

realise_es = Realiser(host='roman.kutlak.info', port=40001)

def main():
    p = Clause("María", "perseguir", "un mono")
    p['TENSE'] = 'PAST'
    print(realise_es(p))

Code here: https://github.com/roman-kutlak/nlglib You can install it using pip: `pip install nlglib`

Best,
Roman

Hi! This is great news, I'm using SimpleNLG in my app for a long time now, and a Spanish version is really good news for us! Are there any .jar files like the ones for SimpleNLG for English to use it on Android? Is there any place I can read about how to use it?

Thanks a lot!

Hi Hector,

We prepared a wiki in Spanish which mirrors the one that exists for the English version, although we adapted some of the examples that didn't fit well after directly translating from English. You can find it in here: https://github.com/citiususc/SimpleNLG-ES/wiki

In any case, there shouldn't be any noticeable differences of usage between both versions.

You can find a .jar file of the library in https://github.com/citiususc/SimpleNLG-ES/releases

We would be very grateful if you could report any bugs that you may find if you end up using it.

Thanks for your interest,

Hector Costa

This is amazing! Thank you very much, for sure I'll report any bugs that I find, and let me know if you need any help with something to keep this project going!
