Hi,

I was wondering if it's possible to make a python wrapper for simplenlg? If yes, can you give some guidance (a couple of github links or some helpful links would be greatly appreciated).
If not, if you could give some reasoning as to why it's not possible. I hope to start a "small" wrapper  (methods that I have already used before) open source project like how NLTK is able to use stanfordPOS tagger for their tagger.

Hi Jouella,

It is possible to run SimpleNLG inside Jython and use it that way. Ive tried this myself in the past just to test its possible, but not used this approach for anything serious. The other approach is to run SimpleNLG as a server that you feed XML syntactic input into. This ability was added a while back as we had users that wanted to run SimpleNLG with different programming languages.

Saad.
