functions.php - where is menuIsActive() used

In functions.php the function menuIsActive() is defined. Where is it used.

Also, the function simpleInvoicesError() is defined but where is the
function simpleInvoiceError() defined since it is the one that is used?

menuIsActive() is prob legacy - can be removed

simpleInvoiceError should be simpleInvoicesError()
