Hi - I just got this installed and working, quite slick and I think I'd like to use it as a logging option long term.  I'm having an issue though that there just has to be a way to deal with, but I can't get it from the docs or other examples on the web.  How do I add additional info to the actual message entry?  For example the class name doing the logging, the thread name, etc?  I'm looking for something like the pattern property found in the console appender.

Thanks for your help and a nifty product!

Hi Jeff. I haven't used the simpledb appender in a while. I have found that Splunk does a great job of centralizing logs from many servers, along with search/query support and visualization. You may want to give it a try.
