I'm trying to use Simple.Data on an MVC 6 application, I was able to get the nugget package but when I run it, I keep getting the ADO not found error, not sure what I'm missing.

This may be too late, but it may help others in the future.  Beyond Simple.Data, you will need Simple.Data.Ado (and more than likely SImple.Data.SqlServer).  These are available in nuget as well.
