I cannot install gem "simple-navigation"

I have installed Ruby 2.4.1 and Rails 5.1.3 in my Linux Ubuntu computer.
I am trying to make a Menu and therefore i want to install the Gem "simple-navigation"

When i type:

gem install simple-navigation
bundle install

Everything works fine.
But nothing is installed.
I look for something with the name navigation in my app folder, but nothing, zero.

What I am doing wrong?
Any help is welcome.

Did you execute "rails generate navigation_config” as described in the docs?
