Rating for the New Album

After a few listens i like the new album a lot. Its good for singing along and as jim and charlie announced a feel good album. After first listen i was not conviced but after a few more it grew. Favorite Songs:

The regular versions of Vision Thing and First You Jump got boring for me very fast. They

sound very generic. Not much live and soul in it (only in vocals ! instruments sound too much

as if they were only programmed on charlies computer). The same i would criticise on the rest of the the album. The songs for itself are strong as everytime on minds albums. Furthermore i think the overall mixing of the album is at some points not good. It sounds  as if the producers did it in a hurry and didnt spend much time on it or overtook ged and charlies production and only made some small tweaks. I wished that there would be more surprises and hidden production tricks that you could discover after the tenth or twentiest listen so the songs dont get boring too fast. That was the case for example with walk between worlds or other  albums.
