Distortion on Slave Nation from Rejuvenation Box set

I was listening to the Cry CD from the  Rejuvenation 2001-2014 CD box set. And i was surprised to hear a lot of distortion on the track Slave Nation. it sounds like it was done in the studio. Is this on the CD from the box set or did i get a damaged cd in the box set?

Someone in one of the FB groups is hoping to get in touch with Bruce Findlay about something of real importance. Is he still in this group or can someone provide his email address? I recall asking him a question a few years ago because he popped up in the Yahoo group and I then had his contact point.

Glenn, I've chatted to Ted tonight and will pass on his images to Bruce tomorrow and see if he's OK with it. Lots of lyric sheets, personal photos and receipts from the likes of the Columbia hotel in the early 80s. Sadly no photos of Derek copping off with Nastassja Kinski or Joan Collins.

got 3 boxsets today, including the vinyl collection:

i opened the cd one to get the booklet out to scan.

i will leave the others sealed.

i actually don't have the first 5 simple minds albums on vinyl. i have the miniLP CD remasters,

but haven't listened to them more than once.

i should really go back someday and check them out.
