Derek is in the process of writing a book about his time in the band and beyond. He's asked me to ask around the forums if there are any questions you would like answered about him or the band. In two days I have over 200 questions for fans. Does anyone here wish to contribute?

Hi Gordon,

Would love to hear more about the creative process that went into the extending and rearranging of the songs for the Sparkle tour and Barrowlands 85 dates.

Also, some background into his involvement in the OUAT songwriting and sessions would make for interesting reading and also shine a light (pardon the pun) on his contribution to their biggest selling LP.

Hi Gordon!

 

I would love to know which album(s) that are his favourites today and which ones he feels he was highly involved in creating.

His basslines were driving many of the early songs.
