New Share ID

i'm using the API to create new shares but cant get the ID of the new share anywhere. as anyone managed to do this?

Unfortunately not, the only way to retrieve the share ids is by pulling recent shares for a given user and iterating through the shares. This is 'by design', so that interacting with shares via the API involves direct human intervention, rather than scripts that could share and spam the share.
