SDD is by far the best (and only) app I found with the full set of macros including Starch.
SDD also is the only app that showed daily bar graphs for energy and all macros consumed eliminating the need to compare memorised food values
The apps I use are fast offline apps.
With SDD I use NutriData for all food macros (the only one with starch) and micros in 9 databases across the World, My Weight Tracker and iBP blood pressure.
My problem main problem is the poor included database used with SD.
It is a defficient American database with idiom and has noticeable errors such as sugar missing in a standard cake slice.
At least the the manual entrees from Nutridata can become the favorite recall.
By comparing the SDD 30 day macro trends with the Weight Tracker 30 day trend it is obvious where my food choices are wrong 😢 or right 😊.
Currently I lose weight with 1500 calorie limit restricting only Sugar to 20g and Starch to 12g a day.
It is disappointing that I can not record weight in SDD and compare energy and macros and weight trend directly.
It is also disappointing to have to enter a lot of food entries from NutriData.
Even these problems SDD is still the best qickest and clearest.
I have used SDD for a long time.
1) Could you please tell me how to work out if I have the paid version or not.
2)If I do not have the paid version will the unpaid version be deleted with the purchase of the paid version or be kept.
3) I presume the paid version and unpaid version would use the same database or an I wrong? (see 2)
4) Any chance of a new database soon
Or 5) A weight bar graph with 30 day trend line and a page to compare weight trend with energy and macro trends.

Hi John.

1) To see if you have the paid version, look in the main menu: The un-paid version has an option to "Buy full version" between "Graphs" and "Manage data". If you've paid it won't be there.

2) The paid and unpaid version are actually the same app. When you pay (via an "in-app purchase") the paid features are simply unlocked in the version you already have installed.

3) Yes.

4 & 5) Probably not "soon". I have a long list of features and not much time to work on them at the moment. (This is only a spare-time project for me, unfortunately.)

I've updated the wording in 1.9 to make the purchase behaviour less confusing, using "buy features" instead of "buy version".
