I had installed sbt-0.12.2 via homebrew. I'm very new to SBT and Scala. I tried some commands and all works fine.
But when I run 'sbt -h' or 'sbt -help' I get this

[info] Set current project to default-c29b29 (in build file:/Users/***/coursera_scala/)

Why didn't appeared a sbt help message?

Sbt is a project repl that needs a shell wrapper to start up. The homebrew version you are using probably does just that. The question you are asking is about the behavior of the wrapper script. For the answer to that, you may want to ask the author of said wrapper script.
