call shell script as a task and parse output

I have a situation in which some import access credentials are stored in a gpg encrypted file.

I'd like to call gpg --decrypt before my build as a task and parse the output from stdout to use for system properties in the test:run in my scala app.  Is there a way in SBT to do this?
