Still working on the RC release of SIMP 6

Happy New Year Everyone!

We're rapidly working toward the first Release Candidate for SIMP 6.

We had hoped to have it done by the end of the year but, as we got deep into Strong Typing our modules, and adding support for Puppet 4 features, we found a few bugs that required us to take extra time to ensure that the modules were going to function properly once released.

If you *must* work on Puppet 4 due to the EOL of Puppet 3, the SIMP 6 Alpha that was released has proven to be stable through several deployments.

We'll get things released as quickly as possible.

Hey Mark,

Thanks for asking! We've gotten stable builds for EL6 and EL7 and are happy with our included module set. The next release will be labeled a Beta because we haven't had a chance for a final thorough update and review of the documentation and enough has changed that we need to make sure that it's on point.

We have a couple of bugs that we hit with our old friend FIPS right now but we're in the final testing stretch and feel confident in the module collection.
