Chaos Monkey Functionality

Hi,
I am a little confused as to what the older version of chaos monkey (the one that is part of simian army) does. Does it only terminate ec2 instances(like its standalone counterpart) or does it also interfere with S3 buckets, fail DNS, burn CPU and so on.

Initially, the version of Chaos Monkey in the Simian Army only terminated ec2 instances. However, it was later modified to support different types of "chaos". I don't know if they are explicitly documented anywhere, but you can see the code for them here: https://github.com/Netflix/SimianArmy/tree/master/src/main/java/com/netflix/simianarmy/chaos

I believe these additional forms of chaos were open source contributions from developers outside of Netflix, but that all happened before I came to Netflix, so I can't say for certain.
