Reading through this group I can see the problem is growing. VATSIM doesn't
care about you as a pilot or as ATC, you will be banned without question
regardless of their own Rules and Regulations. They refuse to answer email's
at the local and global level's and still then you are behind the eight ball.
The Flounders or Bored of Govenors scratch each other's back so your claims
are useless. As the roll of red tape gets larger the members are becoming
smaller. VATSIM is on the downslide and is soon to flop as more pilots and
ATC experience this sort of behavior. It's easier to use ATC in FS than it
is to go online anymore to get booted and/or banned.

Guess if you followed the rules you would not have a problem!

Guess that's why you don't have any... problem, just like the "top" of
VATSIM, you keep your eyes and ears closed.... and keep dreming on about a
damn closed SIM-World where you can rule as you want to, but.... without any
members *ROFL* What will happen the day when the VATSIM-gang will have to
ban each other ?? Well that'll be funny to watch *LOL*

Just another "removed" from the sinking VATSIM-boat !

Mark you must be blind as I stated in my first email that "you will be banned
without question regardless of their own Rules and Regulations." As I can
tell you are ATC so of course you come to their defense quick because if
you don't you wouldn't be a Controller anymore. Also as ATC you'll make
sure someone gets booted/banned regardless of right or wrong if they don't
do things like ATC want's when they (ATC) are in the wrong. Don't have a
discussion unless you can raise your intellect and prove me wrong.

Gord,

Unless you have something to contribute to the conversation and can raise

Somehow, the fact that you use the word "intellect" and post anonymously is
most definitely an oxymoron. You are the epitome of what I like to call
a "keyboard commando"....a person who is quick to criticize withouth worrying
of the consequences. I can guaran-damn-tee you that you won't see an ounce
of respect by posting anonymously. Are you afraid the black helicopters
of Vatsim will come to get you or something?

Grow up.

Why do you think you'd be banned, Corey? I'm at a loss to explain your
antagonism towards the organization but you're certainly not in any danger
of being suspended for your posts here?

I'm not afraid of VATSIM or anyone for that matter. As soon as I post my
name I'll be banned from VATSIM for good because VATSIM will do it without
hesitation. Intellect is being smart about what you know. Respect I don't
need I have enough respect and confidence in myself. Still nobody can argue
with the discussion I started. Also this is my first post on this board so
I'm not whomever you think has posted in the past, please get beyond that
and get to the discussion.

Nice IP lookup, you have the one ip address I use for these purposes. Now as
far as VATSIM goes you can't keep me off. Now was that fair to post my name,
That was not called for but I guess you guys do whatever you want. I
disagree with your last statement although it wouldn't matter anyway because
I don't use this address on VATSIM anyway. If you don't get it by now you
won't. Your obviously concerned about something or you wouldn't have come
here and found me as I'm sure you don't do that to everybody or is that
standard procedure?

Not really

Its better to address people by there names infact. Much more polite.

Personally i've never had a problem with VATSIM. I dont see how any of the
rules or regulations it has should cause a problem for 99.9% of people who
are using the network for fun!

Liam

It is more polite to address people by their real names but not when done
with malice. You didn't read the thread. They aren't flying in policed areas
for most. Your percentage is off as well it is much lower than that. I used
to use it for fun as well but got stuck in the VATSIM spiral and that ended
the Fun.

Take a step back, and look at this from an different perspective.

As any society grows (be it one based on the premise of something that is
not physically real, as VATSIM is), it tends to move towards greater levels
of organization. This is normal, and to an extent necessary to prevent
anarchy. Charged with preventing the anarchists (or miscreants, or
criminals, however you want to put it) from carrying out their role, are
individuals who we might refer to as police, guards, or in the case of
VATSIM, Supervisors.

What occurs on VATSIM is perfectly normal, sociologically speaking, and
tends to be slightly less political then one might think. Within the
smallest civic structure, say, the municipal government, there is an
abundant amount of graft, corruption, and other criminal activity. And,
they don't have to deal with the multitude of different languages, cultures,
etc. that we have on VATSIM.

I'm not saying VATSIM is perfect (as there is no Utopia yet in existance),
however it's doing a heck of a lot better then an outsider might expect.

Very good post but should they not know that growth is on the way? After all
that was their intention from the beginning, correct?

Its a game, I come home from work like a lot of guys who "play", remember
thats the key word here! Its not like we are running a nuke plant or
anything real here,??

I simply do it for stress relief, and it works for me, sorry you are so
damned upset, I do both control and fly!

Of course, they knew that growth was on the way, the results of growth are
unavoidable. Show me one society that has been able to grow (at what would
probably be considered a high rate, I do not have figures to back up my
assumption, however I would guess that the growth rate of VATSIM is higher
then many societies), without an increase in the law/rule enforecement
department.

As I said, things aren't perfect, when there are real people providing
justice, mistakes happen (look at any country's judicial system for many
examples of people who were convicted erroneously), however on a whole, I
would tend to say that VATSIM is doing better then most.

I totally agree with this, I got banned from having my flight on pause for maybe 5 minutes. Guess what I got permanently banned, So I deduced to get a PE account, and Pilotedge controllers and admins treat you like your an actual person, not a cunt like VATSIM. Cant wait for POSCON
