I have not had a problem with FSnav except for the sid/stars maintenance.
With the recent news of Helge's accident and the length of time he was out
might be a while before he gets back to it.

anyone use FSCommander.. Looks impressive from the website

Thanks Clare

It is a good program but not as user friendly ad FSNav. My list of Pro and
Cons are: -
Pro: -
A stand alone program and thus can be used for flight planning w/o opening
FS9.
Can see AI aircraft.
Moving map works well.
A rudimentary approach plate is developed for all approaches. Unfortunately
ther are not reliable and ignore terrain.
Cons: -
I use it on a second networked machine but actually never use it for flight
planning as the routes difficult to edit. Nothing like the "click and Drag"
of FSNav.
Cannot "tune" radios or nav from the program.
Cannot get direction and distance to a way-point as you can with FSNav.
FMS is not as easy to use and not as versatile - no holding abilities,
partial controls not available etc.
No multiplayer so not useful in on-line avaition

In summary while it is a good program the only reason I use it is to see AI
aircraft if I am flying in a non on-line mode. FSNav otherwise is better
despite the (present) lack of support.
