Why doesn't "Move Airplane Here" work

Does anyone know why the "Move airplane here" function isn't active as far
as putting the plane on the runway to start, but seems to be active once in
the air? Seems pretty useless.

Dave,

Go into Slew mode and put your aircraft 10ft in the air. The option then
becomes available.

My recollection was its a feature they were unable to convert to
FS2004 fully.

A small price to pay to still be able to use the program.

It does make sense because all airfields are at different heights and it
saves you moving the aircraft into 200 feet of earth!
