Has anyone ever found the "HOLLYWOOD" sign just north of LA? I have my
scenery set to extremely dense but I couldn't find it.

Thanks, Rick

Try starting at KVNY Van Nuys with VOR tuned to 113.10 Mhz (VNY) and OBI set
to 113. Take off and follow the radial ESE until your DME approaches 11 nm.
Look out the left window.

Thanks. I'll give it a try. I don't mind hunting for something if I know
it's there.

Found it! In FS2k2 Pro with stock scenery, flying at about 1300 feet on
hdg 332, GPS N37-07-10, W188-18-02, the sign is right out the front
windscreen. Don't go too much lower though.

Finally,
That was like trying to find the proverbial needle in the haystack.
Thanks for the help.

Off to find Devil’s Tower now,
Rick
