Hello,

For the first time today a FS 2002 dialog box appeared stating, "An
Unsupported Operation Was Attempted ", when I opened FS. The box
appears regardless of the a/c selected. For what it's worth, I did d/l
a new aircraft today and the box appeared for the first time when I
selected it to fly. No other changes or add-ons have been made in the
recent past. Once I hit "OK" in the dialog box the program continues
as selected.

Can anybody explain what this means and what action may be necessary ?

Thanks

Try deleting the new aircraft and see what happens.

Jack,

That's a very generic error message, I'd check if you have several
versions of the following dll on your system and only keep the most
recent ones: MSVCRT.DLL, MFC42.DLL

Katy,

Thanks for your response but the problem (whatever it was) was resolved
with a re-boot.
